Been for this for a while. No reason to play here.

At least we're not Tiggerboards?

I've never liked playing there.

Missouri is like Tijuana for Johnson County.

Why do we play there? Money?

Re: Burn Down Sprint

I would guess that would be why.
Just schedule another game at Allen.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

We play like the company name on the building.  I have never seen a company celebrate coming in 2nd place as hard as Sprint does.
Fuck that place.

I listen to crappy indie music.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

I still like the theory that the stink of losing from he football team is so bad that just having one of their players in uniform infected our basketball team with their loser ways.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

While we're at it, can we never ever never ever never ever never again have Fran call our game?

Re: Burn Down Sprint

Call your friends!

#14

Re: Burn Down Sprint

"Call your friends if you want to watch an upset" doesn't even make sense. I am ALREADY WATCHING, how does calling someone change that, dipshit?

He's better than Vitale.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

Wasn't the Sprint Center game originally designed to allow KU fans living in Kansas City to have a chance to see them play?  Fuck that.  Anyone else tire of them referring to the game as a home game?  Watched the Oregon game there last year...gave my tickets away tonight...just too many bad memories there!

And fuck Fran!!!  Can you imagine the boner he got tonight????

Re: Burn Down Sprint

It's played in Missouri.
It sure as hell is not a home game.

We all can have our opinions. I couldn't disagree more.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

Fran knows about KU basketball and sometimes brings things to the table.
Vitale is loud, annoying and barely knows anything beyond UNC and Duke.
But both aren't ideal.

No way. Vitale is an idiot and a cheerleader but realized he's a cartoon figure basically.

Fran actually thinks he's enlightening the audience.  And the walking the length of the court while asking questions is the gayest thing to come to CBB since that John Wall dance.

That's just it.
Vitale is a cartoon.
Fran actually talks about things, actual basketball play, sometimes.

Also Withey volleyball, Frank Mason bulldog, Tarik Black tight end.

This is how I feel.

Fran, to me, PREACHES. "What I would do here....", "What Washington needs to do is....", "If you want to beat the zone, what you need to do is...". It's not really informative or interesting. It's like listening to your boss telling you how you should work.

And I never find Fran humorous in any way, which, for me, is a deal breaker. Humor is subjective, so maybe I'm not like others. Bilas, for example, can be very funny along with being informative. Vitale is funny-ish, in a cartoonish way at times.

Re: Burn Down Sprint

The team just stunk last night.  They even had a big ass Jayhawk on center court so it looked like the Fieldhouse.  I was at the game, the crowd was pretty quiet but when you're losing most the game it's hard to get excited.  If the team can't perform away from home in front of home fans, then it's their problem, just like last year in the Elite 8.  Sprint Center was probably 80% pro-KU vs Oregon, and the team folded.
