Re: Game of Throwns

I like the game where you throw bean bags in a hole on a slanted plywood board.

and the one where you throw a frisbee at a beer on a pole and try to knock the beer off.

I've heard each game called several different names, so it might be regional slang...whaddyo call it in your neck of the woods?

Corn hole here. When I first moved here, my boss asked me if I wanted to play corn hole. He didn't understand why I started laughing and then politely declined.

Defense. Rebounds.

Re: Game of Throwns

Since there are no good tv shows to watch right now, let's discuss Polish horseshoes.

Re: Game of Throwns

Is that the frisbee thing? Not a fan of frisbees.

Re: Game of Throwns

Cornhole and bocce >> can jam and polish horseshoes.

#13

Re: Game of Throwns

We call it bags here

#14

Re: Game of Throwns

Can jam?

And those games are fun too, but the beauty of polish horseshoes is all you really need is a frisbee and two ski poles. And beers.

Well, that's what I was gonna ask: what other sorta poles can be used?

Re: Game of Throwns

Garbage can frisbee.

Re: Game of Throwns

I've also seen this game with a circular net, like a mini trampoline, that people crowd around and throw a ball onto.
Looks too involved, like you could break a sweat.

1. Bocce
2. Cornhole
3. Beer Pong
4. Ladder Golf/Redneck Golf
5. Horseshoes

Ladder golf/ball. Whatever you want to call it. Love playing that game. That and bags are my top games that involve throwing that you play in the backyard.

Add washers and you've got a nice lawn/beach game trifecta there.

Washers is the best of the bunch.

No. Horseshoes is by far the best thrown sport.  The most pure, the most historic, the best.  No doubt about it.

your ticket to hell is a-comin to you and I got a hollow point to give you the ride

Re: Game of Throwns

Goon bag.

Had an Australian roommate for a while and he said his "mates" played this back home.  You take a bag of wine out of the box and throw it at each other.  If you don't catch it, you have to chug it for a while.

I prefer bags, though.
